An American solo traveler, creating home in Southeast Asia. At the beginning of the year, I set out on a journey of self-discovery, personal development and a deeper worldly and ethically sound understanding of this life. I am on a quest to challenge my being through the unfamiliar, learning to root myself in the uncertainties of a new corner of the world and embrace each variance. I challenge myself to get lost, stray from the beaten path, dive into the unknown and in doing so, ground myself with each step. I use my writing to connect to and reflect on these experiences, gaining a rich awareness of what it means to travel and to build a foundation in each new city.
