The Hotel Royal Hoi An MGallery

The Hotel Royal Hoi An is certainly at the forefront of the excellent range of accommodation options in Hoi An. This five-star hotel aims to create a memorable experience for its guests, whisking travellers away to another time and place. While few can claim to match the Hotel Royal Hoi An’s level of luxury, even fewer can claim to tell the story of Hoi An the same way this hotel does.

The Hotel Royal Hoi An is inspired by the historic love story of Sotaro, a Japanese merchant and Wakaku, a Vietnamese princess. Their marriage in 1619 was the first known marriage of a Vietnamese and international citizen. The Hotel Royal represents this by displaying a delicate blend of both the Japanese and Vietnamese cultures and dividing itself into two wings. The Sotaro Wing exudes the tradition of Japan coupled with the luxury of Indochina, while the Wakaku Wing offers glamorous feminine touches.

Offering more than just unapologetic luxury, the Hotel Royal gives guests the chance to both explore the treasures of Hoi An during the day, and then relax in one during the evening.
