Nomad Yoga was the first dedicated yoga centre in Hoi An. The studio got its start when Natalie Prete, a passionate and dedicated nomad herself, decided to bring the traditional Rishikesh style of teaching to Hoi An.
Today, Nomad Yoga continually has yogis from Rishikesh who come to spread their expertise. It offers a variety of different classes for people of all skill levels and experience. These classes last 75 min and are offered up to five times a day, six days per week.
In addition to their yoga classes and teacher training, Nomad also offers a variety of speciality workshops, meditation retreats, spa treatments, and healing therapy sessions. Aum Yoga is the newest studio to join the Hoi An yoga scene, but by no means is it a novice venture. Aum Yoga is lead by head teacher Rahul Chamoli, formerly of Nomad Yoga. Rahul first arrived in Hoi An four years ago. The magic of the city captivated him to eventually settle here. After two years of successfully teaching at Nomad Yoga, he has opened his own studio focused mainly on Hatha yoga.
Aum’s concept is pure. Yoga is more than just a physical practice and should condition the mind as well. Rahul was born and raised in Rishikesh, the so-called birthplace of yoga, in northern India. He opened the studio to allow all those who enter to leave their stresses of daily life at the door. The studio is located outside the center of Hoi An in a quiet neighbourhood allowing for a peaceful atmosphere to practice. It is a small and simple studio allowing you to practice without any complications or distractions.
Mats are available along with whatever else you might need during a session such as belts and blocks. Complimentary water and towels are also provided. Essentially, you just need to bring yourself. They offer three classes a day, two in the morning and one in the evening. Aum Yoga services to all levels. However if you have any questions about which class to take it’s best to consult with them directly via their website or Facebook. Reservations are not necessary. It’s first come, first serve basis, so just be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of class.

Annen Yoga studio also offers a vegetarian restaurant in addition to its yoga. Annen Yoga originally started as a personal endeavour for quality vegetarian fare ended up turning into a thriving business. Currently, Om Yoga is in a transitional phase, while the founder and main teacher Tina is setting up her new dedicated yoga place, she still offers private classes as well as teaching at two resorts (Silk Sense and Karma resort—for guests only).
If you want to deepen your yoga practice and get some personal attention at a reasonable price, this is your best option. You just need a space and arrange with Tina a time that suits you best, classes can also be held by the Hoi An Riverside or at An Bang Beach.

They are one of the best options in the Hoi An fitness world, offering an extensive gym facility while providing multiple workout classes, including yoga. The gym itself is large in size, has plenty of workout machines and weights, and is never too crowded.
